We are close grocery stores, local restaurants and bars. All rooms are private, with private bathroom and air conditioning. The pool is the ideal place to relax and enjoy a cocktail  after a day at the beach. Castillo Tambor is ideal for a holiday, weddings, birthday parties and private events. Our hotel is a wonderful location for yoga retreats and family gatherings. Castillo Tambor features 9 rooms, 10 washrooms and has sleeping accommodations for 24 people. Our Cactus Restaurant & Bar offers a variety of dishes from steaks to ceviche, lobster and fresh fish. Come join us at the bar for tropical cocktails like pina colada, margarita, coco locos, and more. We are also offering options for custom menus for groups including vegetarian meals.

You can pamper yourself with our SPA on site services, facials, body wraps, massages, pedicures, manicures and much more. We are also near Tango Mar and Los Delfines golf courses and have arrangements to use their services. If you want to explore the area and do some activities, we can connect you with our local tour company. The many tours they offer Tortuga island tour with dolphin and whale watching, fishing, zip lining, bioluminescence, sunset tours at playa Los Vivos, ATVs, horse back riding, Curu National Park and Playa Quesera with its beautiful white sand beach and crystal water, kayaking, paddle boarding, coffee tours, etc. They also offer custom tours to La Fortuna, Arenal Volcano, Manuel Antonio, Monteverde, Gulfo de Papagayo.

 

We offer free pick up and drop off for Tambor airport and can arrange transportation for Liberia, or San Jose Airports at competitive rates.
